The 2027 Ford lineup is starting to come into focus. In May 2026, Ford released updated 2027 product information for three of the biggest models in our showroom — Expedition, Explorer, and Transit. That means dealers and customers now have far more concrete detail on trims, packages, colors, and configurations than we had a month ago, and Jay Malone Ford is actively working with reservation holders to lock in their exact builds.
Ford has not yet announced specific on-sale dates for the 2027 model year. What we can tell you is that the picture is sharpening fast, demand on certain configurations is going to outpace allocation, and getting in line now is the right move if you have a specific 2027 build in mind. Here’s what’s new across the lineup and how to reserve any 2027 Ford at Jay Malone Ford.

2027 Ford Expedition — what we know
The 2027 Expedition is one of the most substantial Ford updates of the year. The headline news is the addition of the all-new Tremor off-road trim, paired with a 440 HP / 510 lb-ft High Output 3.5L EcoBoost V6, real off-road hardware including modified Raptor skid plates and a 3.73 electronic locking rear differential, and standard Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow with two-speed automatic 4WD and neutral-tow capability.
Beyond the Tremor, 2027 brings a new 30th Anniversary Appearance Package on Platinum — commemorating 30 years of the Expedition nameplate — with exclusive Blue Ember Metallic paint that shares its paint code with the Mustang Dark Horse. There’s a new Family Travel Package on Active Touring with 360-Degree Zone Lighting, the Power Panoramic Vista Roof, and a third-row PowerFold seating setup that operates from the overhead console. BlueCruise hands-free driving is now standard (90-day trial) on more configurations than 2026. And three new paint colors join the lineup — Bronze Fire Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Nocturnal Blue Metallic, and the Anniversary-exclusive Blue Ember Metallic.

2027 Ford Explorer — what we know
The 2027 Explorer brings the biggest news to the family three-row segment this year: a brand-new Explorer Tremor trim. Like its bigger Expedition sibling, the Explorer Tremor is built around real off-road capability with model-specific equipment groups (800A and 801A).
The 3.0L EcoBoost V6 is newly available on Platinum series Explorers. Two new paint colors join the lineup — Avalanche Gray and Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat — while Space White Metallic is discontinued. A new Slick Roof Conversion option is available on Active, ST-Line, ST, and Platinum, and the Universal Garage Door Opener (UGDO) is now optional on Tremor, ST, and Platinum series.
The 2027 Explorer trim lineup confirms Active (100A base and 200A), ST-Line, ST, Platinum, and the new Tremor (800A/801A). If you’ve been waiting for a family three-row with genuine off-road credentials — gravel roads, lake cabin access, and trail driving without giving up the family-hauler practicality — the Explorer Tremor is the trim to watch.

2027 Ford Transit — what we know
The 2027 Transit gets a meaningful update for commercial, fleet, and upfit customers. Ford is offering the full range of configurations — Cargo Van, Passenger Van XL, Passenger Van XLT, Cutaway, and Chassis Cab, in three roof heights, two wheelbases, and three overall lengths — with both gas and electric powertrains, and your choice of RWD or AWD on appropriate configurations.
For 2027, Daytime Running Lamps are now standard on Cargo Van and Passenger Van XL/XLT with on/off cluster controllability. Iconic Silver Metallic joins the color lineup and replaces the discontinued Ingot Silver Metallic. The Ford Security Package is included for one year as standard on Cargo Van and Passenger Van XL/XLT, with a new optional one-time seven-year purchase available. Perimeter Alarm is now standard on those same series. On the E-Transit side, the NACS Fast Charging Adapter is now optional rather than included with the Mobile Power Cord, and Connected Navigation Hardware is available as an option.
If you’re running a contractor crew, building a service body, managing a delivery operation, operating a shuttle, or coordinating an upfit through a body builder, the 2027 Transit is one of the most configurable commercial vehicles on the market. We work with fleet and upfit customers regularly across central Minnesota.

2027 F-150, Super Duty, Bronco, and Bronco Sport
While Ford has not yet released updated 2027 product information on F-150, Super Duty, Bronco, and Bronco Sport at the same level of detail as Expedition, Explorer, and Transit, all four models are part of the 2027 lineup and we’re actively taking reservations on each.
Whether you want to lock in a 2027 F-150 build before allocations get tight, get an F-250 or F-350 Super Duty into the queue for your operation, reserve a Bronco with the specific 2-door / 4-door / Sasquatch combination you want, or transition from your current Escape into a new Bronco Sport, the same free, zero-obligation reservation process applies.

Ford has not made a public announcement about specific 2027 order timing. What we can confirm is that updated 2027 product information was released in May 2026 for the Expedition, Explorer, and Transit, and Jay Malone Ford is actively working with reservation holders to lock in their preferred 2027 builds. Reserving with us is the right step if you want a specific 2027 build — we’ll keep you updated as we have more confirmed information from Ford.
When will 2027 Ford models arrive on the lot?
Ford has not announced specific on-sale dates for the 2027 model year. Reservation holders at Jay Malone Ford will hear from us the moment we have firm delivery timing for their build.
Does reserving a 2027 Ford cost anything?
No. Every 2027 Ford reservation at Jay Malone Ford is free. There’s no deposit, no fee, and no commitment. Reserving simply tells us what you’re looking for so we can prioritize your build when Ford opens allocations.
Can I reserve more than one 2027 Ford model?
Yes. If you’re shopping multiple models — one for work, one for family, or different members of your household — reserve each one separately on its own page. Our team will handle all of them together when we follow up.
What about pricing on the 2027 models?
Pricing on individual 2027 builds depends on trim, package selection, options, and other factors. Talk to our sales team and we’ll walk you through the details for the specific build you’re considering — no obligation either way.
Can I trade in my current vehicle?
Yes. Mention your current vehicle when you reserve and we’ll pull a trade value — no obligation to act on it. Trade values across most Ford models are strong right now.
The 2027 wait is getting shorter

Updated product information is landing, allocations will open in waves, and the customers who are first in line are going to land their exact build before the popular configurations close out.
Whatever 2027 Ford you’re considering, reserving costs nothing, locks you into nothing, and gives us a chance to make sure you end up with the truck or SUV that fits your life. Pick your model, fill out the form, and we’ll take it from there.
