Yes. Ford is discontinuing the Escape, and the Bronco Sport is positioned as the compact SUV for Ford customers going forward. If you’ve been loyal to the Escape nameplate, the Bronco Sport is built to be your logical next step — same compact footprint, more capability, standard all-wheel drive.
How does the Bronco Sport compare to my Escape?
Similar compact size and garage fit, but the Bronco Sport comes with standard all-wheel drive on every trim, more ground clearance, selectable off-road drive modes, and more rugged styling. Cargo space is comparable, the interior tech is modernized, and the higher trims (Badlands especially) give you real off-road credibility the Escape never had. A lot of Escape customers describe the switch as getting everything they loved about the Escape plus the capability they sometimes wished they’d had.
Does reserving cost anything?
No. There’s no deposit, no fee, and no commitment. Reserving simply tells us what you want so we can prioritize your build when 2027 Bronco Sport allocations open.
When will the 2027 Bronco Sport arrive at Jay Malone Ford?
Ford has not announced a specific on-sale date yet. We’ll update reservation holders the moment we have firm timing — you’ll hear from us before the general public does.
What if I’m trading in my Escape?
Mention your Escape when you reach out. We can pull a trade value any time — no obligation to act on it. Used Escape values are strong right now, especially as the model winds down, so if you’re thinking about a 2027 Bronco Sport it’s worth knowing what your current one is worth before values soften.
Can I reserve a specific trim like Badlands or Outer Banks?
Yes. Whatever trim you want for 2027 — Big Bend, Outer Banks, Badlands, or one of the specialty configurations — let us know when you reserve and we’ll do our best to get your exact build in the queue. Higher trims tend to be more allocation-limited, so reserving early matters more for those.
Can I change my preferences later?
Absolutely. Your reservation is a starting point, not a contract. Switch trims, change colors, or walk away — whatever works for you.
Will Jay Malone Ford charge extra to order or locate my Bronco Sport?
No. We’ve never charged extra to factory-order or locate a vehicle and we’re not about to start. You pay what the window sticker says, plus applicable tax, title, and license. That’s it.
What if I want to test drive a current Bronco Sport first?
Come on in. We have current-year Bronco Sports on the lot and a test drive is the best way to get a feel for how it compares to your Escape before you commit. Mention it when you fill out the form and we’ll set it up.
