Are the parts Jay Malone sells genuine Ford OEM?
Yes. We stock genuine Motorcraft and Ford OEM parts backed by factory warranty. For non-Ford vehicles, we source OEM-equivalent parts from trusted manufacturers. If you'd rather use aftermarket parts, we can do that too — just ask Joel when you call. He'll walk you through the trade-offs between OEM, OEM-equivalent, and aftermarket so you can make the right call for your vehicle and budget.
Do I have to install parts through your service department, or can I buy them over the counter?
Parts are available over the counter. Stop in at 1165 Highway 7 West, call the parts desk at (320) 587-4748, or place a special order for pickup. Installation through our service department is optional — plenty of our customers buy Motorcraft parts from us and install them in their own shop or driveway. We'll still help you with diagrams, torque specs, and part numbers.
How fast can you special-order a Ford part?
Most Motorcraft and Ford OEM parts arrive in one to three business days from the regional warehouse. Common wear items are usually in stock. Rare, vintage, or high-demand performance parts may take longer, but we'll give you a firm ETA when you order. Joel has 45 years of sourcing experience — if it exists in Ford's supply chain, he can get it.
Does Jay Malone Ford's parts department sell parts for all makes and models?
Yes. We specialize in Ford vehicles and Motorcraft components, but we source OEM-equivalent parts for every major manufacturer — Chevrolet, GMC, Toyota, Honda, Ram, Jeep, Subaru, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, and more. For tires, we stock all major brands regardless of vehicle. If it drives, we can find parts for it.
Do you price-match parts or tires?
For tires, yes — our Low Price Tire Guarantee will match any advertised price on the same tire from a local competitor. For other parts, call Joel and we'll do our best to be competitive with online pricing. Just remember: when you buy from Jay Malone, you're getting the part plus factory warranty, factory fit, and a real person you can call if there's a problem. That's worth something over a cheap online auction listing.
What warranty comes with genuine Ford parts?
Most genuine Motorcraft and Ford OEM parts come with a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty (whichever comes first), and many major components carry longer warranties. Ford remanufactured parts typically include a 2-year / unlimited-mileage warranty. Aftermarket parts don't carry a Ford factory warranty — which is a key reason we recommend OEM for any repair you want to last.
