The Ford Bronco Sport is built for drivers who want genuine off-road capability without giving up everyday comfort and technology. Standard 4x4 on every trim. A lineup that runs from the adventure-ready Big Bend all the way to the purpose-built Badlands. At Jay Malone Ford in Hutchinson, MN, we carry the full Bronco Sport lineup and we'll help you find the exact trim, package, and color you want — without charging extra to locate it.
Why the Ford Bronco Sport?
The Bronco Sport occupies a unique position in the Ford lineup. It's not a crossover softened down for the suburbs — it's built on a genuine off-road platform with real 4x4 hardware, off-road tuned suspension, and a Terrain Management System™ that gives every driver meaningful control over how the vehicle handles different terrain. At the same time, it delivers the interior comfort, technology, and fuel efficiency that make it a practical everyday SUV.
For drivers in central Minnesota — where winters are serious, gravel roads are common, and a lot of weekends involve a boat ramp or a trail — the Bronco Sport makes a strong case at every trim level.
The Ford Bronco Sport trim lineup
The Bronco Sport comes in four trims. Each one is built around a different kind of driver — here's the short version:
Big Bend®
The entry point into the Bronco Sport lineup. Standard 4x4, HOSS 1.0 suspension, 5 G.O.A.T. Modes®, SYNC® 4 with 13.2" touchscreen, and the most available packages of any trim — including Black Diamond Off-Road and Bronze.
1.5L EcoBoost® · Standard 4x4 · 25 city / 30 hwy*
Heritage
The personality trim. Oxford White roof and grille, retro-inspired plaid cloth interior, Heritage Bronco script decals, and standard All-Terrain tires. Built on the same capable foundation as Big Bend with a look that stands out.
1.5L EcoBoost® · Standard 4x4 · 25 city / 30 hwy*
Outer Banks®
The refined daily driver. Premium-trimmed sport bucket seats, heated front seats standard, 8-way power driver seat, dual-zone climate control, remote start, and memory driver seat. Available with the Sasquatch® package for serious off-road capability.
1.5L EcoBoost® · Standard 4x4 · 25 city / 30 hwy*
Badlands®
The off-road flagship. Exclusive 2.0L EcoBoost® engine, Advanced 4x4 with Twin Clutch Rear Drive Unit, HOSS 2.0 suspension, Trail Control™ with Trail One-Pedal Drive, 7 G.O.A.T. Modes® + Differential Lock, and standard underbody steel protection.
2.0L EcoBoost® · Advanced 4x4 · SelectShift® with Paddle Shifters
*EPA-estimated fuel economy for 1.5L EcoBoost® trims. Actual mileage will vary.

Standard 4x4 on every Bronco Sport — what does that mean?
Every Bronco Sport — from Big Bend to Badlands — comes standard with 4x4. There is no front-wheel-drive option in the lineup. That's not marketing language — it's a fundamental part of how the Bronco Sport is engineered.
Big Bend, Heritage, and Outer Banks run Standard 4x4. The Badlands runs Advanced 4x4 with a Twin Clutch Rear Drive Unit, which distributes torque more precisely between the rear wheels — a meaningful advantage on loose terrain, rock, and low-traction surfaces.
For Minnesota drivers dealing with snow, ice, and unpaved roads from October through April, this is one of the Bronco Sport's most practical selling points — and it doesn't cost extra to get it.

G.O.A.T. Modes® — what are they and how do they work?
G.O.A.T. stands for Goes Over Any Type of Terrain. It's Ford's Terrain Management System™ — a driver-selectable system that adjusts throttle response, transmission behavior, traction control, and stability systems to match the surface you're driving on.
| Mode | Available On | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | All trims | Everyday driving |
| ECO | All trims | Fuel efficiency on highways |
| Sport | All trims | Spirited driving, quicker response |
| Slippery | All trims | Snow, ice, wet pavement |
| Off-Road | All trims | Trails, gravel, uneven terrain |
| Rock Crawl | Badlands only | Technical low-speed off-road |
| Rally | Badlands only | Fast, loose terrain |
| Differential Lock | Badlands only | Maximum traction on extreme terrain |
Big Bend, Heritage, and Outer Banks include 5 G.O.A.T. Modes®. The Badlands adds Rock Crawl, Rally, and a Differential Lock — bringing the total to 7 modes plus the lock.
Technology and connectivity across the Bronco Sport lineup
Every 2026 Bronco Sport comes standard with SYNC® 4 on a 13.2" center touchscreen, Wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility, Alexa Built-in, over-the-air software updates, and a 5G modem. The Ford Connectivity Package — which includes Unlimited Wi-Fi® Hotspot, Audio and Video Streaming, Voice Assistant, and Entertainment — is included for one year on every trim.
Ford Co-Pilot360® Assist+ is standard across the lineup and includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane-Keeping System, Rear Parking Sensors, and Rear View Camera. The Badlands and the Outer Banks with the Sasquatch® package step up to Ford Co-Pilot360® Assist 2.0, adding a 360-Degree Camera with Trail View, Front Parking Sensors, and Reverse Brake Assist.
