What is Ford Drive 4 UR Community?

Ford Drive 4 UR Community is a Ford program that turns test drives into donations. A Ford dealership teams up with a local organization to host a test-drive event, and Ford makes a donation to that organization for each test drive taken during the event. You get to try out a new Ford, and a local cause gets the support.

What is The REACH Program?

The REACH Program is a voluntary, in-school program at Hutchinson Public Schools (ISD 423) designed to support middle and high school students who need academic, social or emotional support. Its goal is to help students experience success by learning new life skills to overcome barriers.

REACH is built on the belief in the ability of every student to overcome academic and personal obstacles to achieve success. The program is led by REACH Director Chad Harlander, who has led it since 2007.

Where does the money go?

The $1,410 went directly to The REACH Program. I had the chance to present the check to Chad and one of the REACH students, and it was a great reminder of why events like this matter. These are kids from our own community, and REACH is helping them build skills that will carry them well beyond school.

Why does Jay Malone Ford support local programs like REACH?

The Malone family has owned and operated Jay Malone Ford since 2005, on a Highway 7 West corner that has been home to a Hutchinson dealership since 1980. Hutchinson has supported our family business for a long time, and giving back to the schools and organizations that make this town great is one of the ways we say thank you. Our motto is “Your Dealer for Life,” and we take the “community” part of that seriously.
